Boosting Black Trans Lives with Supportive Policies

Black Trans Nation backs NY's Black Trans & Gender Nonconforming community.

Black Trans Nation is a grass-roots organisation that is trans community-led and focused, and therefore, accountable to trans and gender-nonconforming community we serve. In order to improve the quality of life of all trans persons, we advocate on behalf of our constituents for more inclusive policies and legislation. Our advocacy is rooted in diversity, equity, inclusiveness, and equality.

Given the current volatile state of politics, it is prudent for us to clearly articulate our political position. Doing so increases transparency and offers the chance to connect with like-minded individuals who hold similar values and principles. We extend an invitation to those who wish to stay updated on current legislative proposals that we support, to access and read each bill for their own assessment.

Becoming Candii, is a book about my journey through a traumatic psychophysical transformation that made me who I am today.

I am proud to be a transgender woman. This is my true story. What I needed to be left behind. What I needed to embrace. I followed my bliss, and my bliss found me. ~ TS Candii
